Buscapades!
It was a weekend full of photo-op moments! Here are the highlights!
First up, the "Second Time Around" Antique store, sharing names with the one April O'Neil runs in TMNT!
Over the weekend, these phone-booth posters have popped up everywhere, and Donnie was the first we spotted on our journey!
Next up was a double-dose! Both Leo and Raph together in one place - what a find!!
The until-now-elusive Raphael Bus!! I actually tore down the street at record speed to catch up with this guy before he disappeared on me!
And all of two feet from where I caught the Raph-Bus was the last of the four phone-booth posters - Mikey! My collection was complete!
After all that TMNT overdoes, the next logical stop was McDonalds, for Happy Meals of the same theme!!
The last of the bus series (so far - I'm still hoping to find Donnie before I leave) is the Mikey-Bus, which we had actually been riding on! I caught his big goofy smile in the reflection of another car so when we stopped we had to dash out for a photo!
Platform 9 3/4 was the last planned stop - not as impressive as I'd thought, but fun nevertheless.
Lastly, there was this adorable little kiddie-carnival outside my Tube Stop!! Fun times abounded!!

TMNT in London
Just a few quick pics today - my weekend was pretty uneventful, but it was full of Ninja Turtles!!
These babies were up all over the place last week, and I caught one of the last ones going through my neighborhood on Sunday. Luckily I got a picture before they all got replaced!
And this is the highly anticipated Happy Meal series!! The toy is kinda bulky, but that allows him to stand on his own - and shoot a mini-him out of his back. Little bit weird, but lots of fun!

Spring Break!
The Smith's House in Cheshire, my new home away from home! So much love in that place!

Our bedroom, also the workroom, so it was full of great books & a computer!!
This is Maggi! A Greyhoud/German Shepard mix, I think. A real sweetheart too!
This is Milly, the younger of the two cats. She was just a little bit scary. ^_^

The spoils of Camden Markets & a walk to Church
OK! As it was much too dreary out to take nice pictures of Hyde Park, a few friends and I expolred the Camden Markets and here I bring you the spoils!
First up, this adorable shirt & skirt set that was a great sale and just called out to me! And it works being mix-matched with other things for different looks as well!
And here's a fabulous Batman t-shirt, that I just HAD to have. And for 4 pounds, who was I to turn down such a deal?
The rest of the day was uneventful, but the next morning I decided to document my trek to church, so here are some shots from that!
The street I live on - people have pointed out the different colors of sidewalk tiles, and in dryer weather, it's really prominent.
Palm trees?! Well, why not?
Very fun old, old car! With some cleaning up, it could be really nice!
Pretty flowers. ^_^
And there's the church! Right on Chiswick Hight Street (which is the British way of saying Main Street).
Nice and clearly labeled, too!
And there's the mass before mine getting out. They run 15 minutes apart, which I've noticed is NOT enough time to get everyone out before the new batch moves in, so I usually sneak in around this point in order to get a good seat. ^_^

Stonehenge and Bath!!

My New Room!
Ha-HA! My new room!! Complete w/desk and closet! Behold it's splendor!
As you can see, I've already succeeded in making a mess of it, in the two nights I've spent there!
The second half of this closet is full of the water tank that supplies the bathrooms in the house, but I don't mind - it's got more storage space than I had before!
It's ironic that I haven't actually used that desk yet - but I will! Mark my word!
My floor - not much of it, but I use it well!
And here's the present Mom sent me for Valentines Day! Isn't he cute?? Thanks, Mom!!

The Globe!
Just a few shots of the spot I got to visit on Sunday - the reconstructed Shakespeare's Globe Theatre!! Lots of fun, despite the cold!
A Saturday Adventure w/the Hat!
Tommy G's Hat and I went on an adventure this Saturday, under the guise of completing a photo project, we saw lots of fun things!
Like this pillar, the name of which I do not know. ^_^
And this AMAZINGLY HUGE courtyard at the Sommerset house!
And a psalm, engraved in stone.
And more red phone booths!
And a cannon!
And Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese Tavern!
And Damn Fine Coffee.
All in all, it was a good day for the Hat, who relaxed reading the evening paper on the ride home!
