Sunday we wandered around Picadilly Circus - here's a couple pics I had taken before my old camera batteries died.

Culture Shock & The Touristy Stuff
Just a few pictures to keep y'all updated!
First off - my room. Really nice size, but not alot of space I can actually use, unfortunately. I have to talk to my host family about changing furniture. They've been pretty nice so far, so hopefully that'll work out alright.
See? Look at that bed! It's HUGE! If it folded up into a futon it'd be perfect, but the way it is, it just sort of takes up ALL of my floor space. I've been sleeping on the couch cuz I feel way too open and exposed on that giant thing. If I could just replace it with a desk and chair, I'd be the happiest girl ever.
So, the city itself - crazy crowded, with lots of cool stuff to see! That's the Royal Albert Hall right there, where Cirque du Solei is performing at the moment.
Buckingham palace! Another tourist must-see. Very magestic.
Myself, my friend Lizz, and a guard at St. James' Palace. We imagine they're not very fond of this shift.
Not London Bridge, as most people (even most Brits) think, but the Tower Bridge. Not a bad view at all.
Oh, and the weather's been surprisingly awesome (knock on wood)!

It Starts...
Flying out today!! If I hadn't buried my camera in one of my bags, I'd have pictures of said bags to post up here, but that's the way it goes. ^_^

Departure
Haha! Using my mom's camera, we got a few shots to post up here before I ship out!
First up, the going away dinner! This past Saturday my grandparents came down and we had a mini-Thanksgiving!
Then we took some shots of me with my luggage! Woo!
It's really amazing how much you can fit into 3 bags, it really is. I was impressed. I'll try and remember to put up pics of how much stuff comes out of them when I unpack.
A better veiw, and no glare from the counter.
I think me and my bags will get along just fine. They're cumbersome, but they seem to like me well enough. ^_^
Lastly, one of me and my mom. Turned out pretty nice, actually.Ok, that's all for today!
